Last Updated: October 26, 2023
The use of the GARY P GRIECO website and engagement with our unparalleled film camera restoration and repair services signifies your agreement to these comprehensive terms and conditions. We believe in transparency and precision, just as we approach every delicate mechanical shutter repair. These terms are designed to foster a clear, mutual understanding, protecting both your cherished equipment and our dedication to masterful craftsmanship.
1. Estimates and Service Approval
- Estimates are meticulously provided after a thorough physical inspection of your equipment and remain valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of issuance.
- No restoration or repair work will commence without the client's explicit, written approval of the provided estimate. Your consent guides our hands.
- Should an estimate be declined, a nominal bench fee and return shipping fee will be applied to cover the diagnostic time and administrative efforts.
- In rare instances, unforeseen complexities may surface during the intricate process of service. In such cases, we commit to communicating promptly and providing a revised estimate for your approval before proceeding.
2. Warranty
- GARY P GRIECO proudly offers a six (6) month warranty on all parts and labor specifically for the repairs and services performed. This warranty underscores our commitment to lasting quality.
- This warranty expressly does not cover issues unrelated to the original service, new damage resulting from impact, misuse, water or sand ingress, or any other external factors.
- The warranty is immediately void if the camera or any serviced component is opened, tampered with, or serviced by any party other than GARY P GRIECO after our repair.
- For any warranty claims, the client is responsible for all associated shipping costs to and from our Delaware workshop.
3. Liability
- Our liability is strictly limited to the direct cost of the repair service provided. We do not assume responsibility for indirect or consequential damages.
- GARY P GRIECO is not liable for items lost, stolen, or damaged while in transit to our workshop. Clients are strongly urged to utilize reputable, tracked, and insured shipping methods for all equipment.
- Cameras that remain uncollected for more than ninety (90) days following the completion of service and subsequent notification will regretfully be considered abandoned and may be sold to cover accumulated repair and storage costs.
